The Larkin, Monsen and Skjold lines are all descended from most of the early royalty of Europe including Charlemagne, sometimes multiple times. Of course it is mathematically possible to show that everyone of North European descent is descended from Charlemagne. Here are a few links to sites that discuss this:

Still I have a cousin in Norway whose uncles could all recite their ancestors back to King Harald the FInehair (pruportedly my 28th grandad) so who knows?
