Anne fell in love with her music teacher, Lawrence Josiah Munson, when she was 16. His diary of their courtship in 1900 will be online soon. They married in 1903 when she was 19. Click here for her son Alex's recollections of her and here for her daughter Marion's tales of family life

Anne died tragically in a car accident in 1929 leaving her five children: Alexander Lawrence (1907-1983), Marian ('Mickie') Josephine (1910-1997), Henry Lee (1911-1991), and Lawrence Shipley (1920-). For more of her families photos go to her husband's album, Lawrence Josiah Munson.
